From May 26 to 30, project members, PhD candidates, and collaborators are coming together for a week of vibrant academic exchange, collaborative planning, and insightful presentations.

The week kicks off on Monday afternoon with a welcome session followed by engaging fieldwork presentations. Tuesday is dedicated to PhD fieldwork presentations, showcasing the students’ latest research nodes. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for feedback and peer learning. Midweek, attention will turn to the project’s conceptual development. Wednesday and Thursday will feature group presentations on the evolving “Keywords” central to Solroutes’ research framework. Topics included “Naming and Grounding,” “Infrastructuring and Resourcing,” and “Gendering.” The sessions culminated in a collaborative discussion on refining texts and planning future publications. On Friday, the focus will shift again to doctoral research. PhD candidates will present the structure of their theses, followed by feedback from the Solroutes Advisory Board, including concluding remarks by David Brotherton. The week concluded with a management session to address the organisational and strategic aspects of the project.
