Edited by: Tiziana Tarsia & Andrea Nucita

We’re proud to share that Rassa Ghaffari, researcher with the SolRoutes project, contributes to an upcoming collective volume edited by T. Tarsia & A. Nucita

Ghaffari’s contribution builds on her ethnographic research at the Bulgarian-Turkish border, and reflects the SolRoutes project’s commitment to blending activism, participatory qualitative methods, art, and research. Her chapter explores how co-research practices can challenge traditional knowledge hierarchies and foster more inclusive, grounded understandings of migration and care.

A public presentation event will follow on 19 May 2025, in Messina, Italy
