Luca Queirolo Palmas Visits the University of Victoria, Canada
Luca Queirolo Palmas, the Principal Investigator of the Solroutes project, is currently on a short-term research visit at the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria in Canada. During his visit, he will hold a seminar on Wednesday, July 9, centered on solidarity and debordering within the migration context.
The event will feature a showing of “L’Aventure Mauritanie,” a documentary directed by José González Morandi, produced as part of the Solroutes initiative. The film chronicles the llegalized journey from Mauritania to the Canary Islands, providing a powerful insight into border systems and migrant resilience.
