Film screening + dialogue: Gendering Borders

On September 25, as part of the kick-off meeting of the project, we organized a public event entitled “Gendering borders”, based on the documentary “Women Refugees between Violence and Hope” and the volume “Les damnées de la mer” by Professor Camille Schmoll.
Together with the author, we explored the role of gender in shaping the migration experience, the specificities of women’s unauthorized migration, and the impact of migration on their lives.
